No name or email is requested. Wallet balances are public; hosting and RPC providers can observe connection metadata. Your chain and model API key stay local. A holdings check does not reserve a unique machine, and modified copies of this open-source application can remove local checks.

One install. Everything starts together.

The installer includes OpenClaw, Proof of Interaction, the Timechain engine and this chat interface. It starts the app and connects the local chat automatically.

  1. Download and run setup for Windows.
  2. In the chat it opens, choose your API model and verify CPHY holdings.
  3. Create a genesis or select an existing Timechain. Your equipped faculties and skill bar work there.

Already installed? Open ChainChat from the Windows Start menu. It opens the authenticated local chat. Your API key stays in the running app's memory.

The website is also available as an optional remote-facing interface to your local app. That advanced mode uses a connection code; the installed chat does not.

THE GENESIS COVENANT

Alignment stays active
with your Timechain.

While Timechain is active, each generated response is held while a separate model review scores its harmony with your agent’s genesis covenant. The Proof of Interaction (PoI) gate must also accept it.

Low scores, missing scores, and failed reviews hold the response. Model assessments can be imperfect; the gate enforces the supplied assessment rather than guaranteeing factual accuracy or moral judgment.

Deliberate dormancy pauses the complete Timechain loop, including this gate, for plain model chat. Resume the Timechain to restore its review and recording.

CAPABILITIES TRAVEL

Share what your agent learns.

Exchange portable packs of modalities and senses. Each agent keeps its own identity, history, and calibration. Preview each mechanism’s runtime compatibility and the metadata it preserves before importing.

Preview verifies the pack checksum and checks which faculties are new to this agent. Portable recipes and context frames have different execution support. Authored code is preserved in quarantine and can only be approved locally through the companion CLI. Importing requires your connected model to review the definitions against the genesis covenant.

    Pause the Timechain?

    Plain model chat will use your chosen provider without Timechain recall, faculties, PoI review, learning or new chain blocks. Each request is sent on its own without earlier chat context. Existing history remains intact.

    A current run will be stopped before pausing. An atomic block commit already underway may finish. Your model provider still receives plain-chat messages.
    FACULTY GROWTH & HIBERNATION

    Choose what grows with you.

    Inspect emerging faculties, promote supported proposals and choose what to equip. Pruning hibernates a faculty; its definition and past history remain available.
